- Cash Withdrawals and Fast Cash:
You can withdraw cash from any ATM subject to the available balance in your account or the available overdraft limit sanctioned. ATM cash withdrawals are subject to fixed drawing limits and / or fixed number of transactions per day.
- Balance Enquiry:
You can check your account balances on the ATM. account.
- Mini Statement:
Requisition for a statement with a limited (latest) number of transactions of the ATM account when online.
- Fund Transfer:
If you have previously selected the funds transfer option for your account, you can transfer funds between your primary account to and your secondary account, subject to the available balance.
- Deposit of cash or cheques:
At select ATMs of Dhanlaxmi Bank, you can deposit cash or cheques into your primary bank account.

Eligibility
- Individual account holders and sole proprietorship concerns are eligible for this facility.
NRI: Holders of NRE savings and current accounts are also eligible for the Debit Card. A minor, or an account in which a minor is a joint account holder (joint operation), is not eligible for a Debit Card. Joint Accounts with joint operations are not eligible for a ATM/Debit Card since operations are
Restricted to account holders with joint signatures. Debit Card will not be issued to other entities including partnership firms, companies, trusts, societies etc.
How to apply for the Debit Card
- New Customers
If you do not have a banking relationship with Dhanlaxmi Bank, you will need to open a savings account with Dhanlaxmi Bank. Please visit our nearest branch to apply for savings account.
- Existing Customers
If you already have an Dhanlaxmi Bank Account, download the Visa International Debit Card Application Form from the website.
Do’s & Dont’s with your Debit Card
The Do’s:
- Sign on the signature panel on your Debit card immediately upon receipt of your Card.
- Protect the magnetic strip on the reverse of the card from exposure to direct sunlight, magnets, and scratches, as it contains important information about your card.
- Keep a photocopy of the front & back of your card and quote your Debit card number to the Bank in all your communications.
- Keep your ATM PIN a secret to prevent any misuse of your Debit Card.
- In case your card is stolen/ misplaced, call the Dhanlaxmi Bank Customer Service number provided at the back of the card, to inform us about the same.
- Keep your charge slips safe, to tally them against your Billing Statement
- In case you need your Debit Card to be re-issued or terminated, please send in your request in writing to the Dhanlaxmi Bank branch where you have your account.
- Upon Debit Card expiry or closure of your account, please cut your Debit Card into several pieces through the magnetic strip to prevent any misuse.
- If your Debit Card is lost/stolen, or if you suspect that your Debit Card has been used fraudulently, call the Customer Service Number at 1800-425-1747, immediately to report the loss of your card.
The Don’ts:
- Never keep a copy of your PIN in your wallet and never write your PIN number on your Debit Card.
- Do not leave your Debit card unattended. The card can be misused easily.
- It should never be surrendered to anyone other than a designated Bank Officer at a Dhanlaxmi Bank branch and that too only after cutting it into several pieces through the magnetic strip
- Never reveal or surrender your personal identification number (PIN) to anyone. Please destroy all evidence of the PIN after memorizing it.
- Always ensure that the Debit card is used in your presence when transacting at merchant establishments. Never sign an incomplete sales slip
- Do not attempt to use your Debit card at merchant establishments that do not possess VISA Electron Point-of Sale swipe terminals
- Do not attempt to use your Debit card for making purchases via Telephone/mail or in any other 'card not present' situation.
Do not attempt to use your Debit card for Internet transactions at it is not supported presently.

Credit alert
- Credit transaction details will be sent to your mobile phone whenever any credit transaction has been made you.
- Additional parameters can be set for credit alerts, if any credits more than the mentioned amount are made. (the minimum transaction value for which alerts will be received is fixed at Rs.2,000).
The message format is as follows:
For example, if an amount of Rs. 25,000 has been credited to your account on 14 September 2007 the SMS you receive will read as -. Dhanlaxmi bank- inr 25000.00 has been credited to your a/c 0001001000000001 on 14-sep-07 with the narration "payout from: 0001001000000002”. Available balance inr xxxxx.xx.
Debit alert
- Debit transaction details will be sent to your mobile phone whenever any debit transaction has been made by you.
- Additional parameters can be set for debit alerts, if any debits more than the mentioned amount are made (the minimum transaction value of alerts is fixed at Rs.2,000).
- The message format is as follows:
For example, if an amount of Rs. 2,000 has been debited to your account on 14 September 2007 the SMS you receive will read as - Dhanlaxmi bank- inr 2000.00 has been debited to your a/c 0001001000000001 on 14-sep-07 with the narration "amt trf jose / tsr". Available balance inr xxxxx.xx.
SMS alerts for transactions made will be sent at intervals of 15 minutes and each alert will mention the available balance in the account. If multiple transactions have been made from the account within the 15 minute interval then the SMS alerts for all transactions will be received at the end of the 15 minute interval. However, the balance amount in the account, mentioned in all the SMS alerts, will be as at the end of the 15 minute interval.
For example: if a transaction is made at 3 pm, then the alert for that transaction stating the available balance will be received at 3.15 pm. Even if multiple transactions have been made between 3 pm and 3:15pm, the alerts for each transaction will be received at 3.15 pm stating the available balance as at 3.15 pm for each SMS.
Money Transfers can be facilitated through Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) or National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) anywhere in India, in any bank and any bank branch provided the branch has an Interbank Financial Service Code.
The IFSC numbers of those designated bank branches are listed in the IFSC directory of IDRBT (established by RBI) website www.idrbt.com or individual websites of respective banks.

Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS)
Real Time Gross Transfer is used for transactions above Rs. 1 lakh anywhere within India. It is a very secure transfer service and the settlement of the transaction is done immediately when the transaction has been executed.
- RTGS is an electronic payment system, which provides online settlement of payments between financial institutions. Payment instructions between banks are processed and settled individually and continuously throughout the day. Dhanlaxmi Bank customers can make payments to the beneficiary’s a/c in another bank and vice-a-versa.
- Payee banks and their customers receive funds at any time immediately when the transaction has been executed so they are not exposed to any risk. It is a highly secured system using PKI and includes signing and encryption.
- All Dhanlaxmi Bank branches are RTGS enabled. Our customers can avail of RTGS services to transfer funds to accounts of other banks, provided those bank branches are also RTGS enabled.
Fund Transfer Amount
The minimum amount for RTGS transactions is Rs. 1 Lakh.

National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)
National Electronic Funds Transfer can only be used for transactions up to Rs. 1 lakh, anywhere within India. This enables the transfer of funds easily and quickly. They can be done fairly economically and are very reliable. NEFT settlements are done at particular time slots each day, which have been determined by the RBI. The settlements of transactions will only happen during these time slots.
- The National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) system is an electronic funds transfer system introduced by Reserve Bank of India to help banks transfer funds electronically from one customer account of a NEFT participant bank branch to another customer account of any other NEFT participant bank branch in India.
- The NEFT system is done in pre-determined time slots. Currently there are six time slots daily for NEFT settlements. They are 9.00 AM, 11.00 AM, 12 NOON, 1.00 PM, 3.00 PM and 5.00 PM.
- Dhanlaxmi Bank has started live NEFT operations with all CBS branches that can perform NEFT operations. The customers of all Dhanlaxmi Bank branches can avail of NEFT services to transfer funds to accounts of other banks; provided those bank branches are also NEFT enabled.
- NEFT is available for walk-in customers up to Rs.50,000.

Bank customers who intend to be the remitters of funds for credit of beneficiary accounts of any other bank shall have to provide the details as mentioned below:
- Name of the beneficiary bank
- Name of the branch* designated for fund transfer under RTGS/NEFT
- The Inter Bank Financial Service Code of the beneficiary bank’s branch
- The type of account of the beneficiary
- The account number of beneficiary to be given in 16 Digits
- The name of the beneficiary
The remitter (customer) shall furnish the above details in the 'Money Transfer Application Form’ duly signed to avoid repudiation later. The application shall be submitted along with his/her cheque for the amount to be transferred, plus bank commission. The remitter shall be responsible for the accuracy of the particulars given in the Money Transfer Application Form.
*The bank branches for fund transfer shall be designated and listed in the RBI site, provided with the IFSC. Since National Electronic Fund Transfer is affected through Structured Financial Messaging Services, branches need not be under the core banking stream or automated, but shall be facilitated or designated for money transfer.
