Foreign Currency Demand Drafts
Foreign Currency Demand Drafts (FCY DD) facilitate overseas transactions in a selection of six currencies including United States Dollars (USD), Great Britain Pounds (GBP), Euro (EUR), Australian Dollars (AUD), Canadian dollars (CAD) and Swiss Franc (CHF). These drafts can be used for:
- Gift remittances to family and friends
- Payment of application or course fees to foreign universities
- Paying for medical expenses incurred overseas
- Any other foreign expense as permitted by the RBI/FEMA guidelines
